Have you ever imagined that someone can control your brain remotely? Have you ever thought that someone can send messages to your body’s muscles forcibly by controlling your central processing organ and that too remotely? Yes, science has now managed to do this all remotely. Although, science made it on a much smaller scale; they did it. Not only this, they were also able to encourage running a test subject of this achievement.

Thankfully, the achievement will be available for good and not for the bad.

The effort that was led by physics professor Arnd Pralle, Ph.D., of the University at Buffalo College of Arts and Sciences, focused on a technique called as “magneto-thermal stimulation.” It’s not exactly a simple process but- a process requires an implantation of specially built DNA strands and some nanoparticles that are attached to specific neurons. As soon as this procedure is over; the brain can be easily controlled by an alternating magnetic field. As soon as these magnetic inputs are applied the particles get heated up that causes the neurons to get fire.

The study that was published in the most recent edition of the famous journal eLife; that includes experiments that were performed on mice. Utilizing these achievements, the scientists were able to control the movement of animals, like locking their moves, causing them to freeze, turn around, or even run.

Despite only testing on mice, these research would have far-reaching implications in the domain of brain research. This breathtaking development could very well be an important step towards that future. The holy grails of one of the most scientific dreamers, Elon Musk is that they expect that one day each and every one of us would be able to control our brain for mood swings; leaving a great and perfect creature inside us.
